Snap shot moments

Chilling with Haiku,

actually Guy-ku,

for summer

instead of a

long journal.

Paint a tiny picture,

with words,

explaining a snap shot

moment.

Try some…

Here’s how:

Five syllables

Seven syllables

Five syllables…that’s it!

From Guy-ku:

With the ember end

of my long marshmallow stick

I draw in the dark.

Penny on the rail,

You used to look like Lincoln

before you got smooshed.

Lying on the lawn

we study the blackboard sky

connecting the dots.

Mosquito lands on

my cheek. I try to slap her,

but I just slap me.

Have fun finding moments!
